Chapter 5 Done #Silo3dBook

The Silo book is going well and I have managed to get my first two chapters complete. Chapter 4 and 5 are now winging their way to the publishers to review…

Below are a couple of sneaky shots from the book. The first is the main character concept which we will be creating in the book…The second is a shot from Chapter 5

New Year, New Book

Happy 2010 all! and with the new year comes a new book which I am starting work on today

This, my third book, will be focused on creating a character similar in style to my Red Sonja, but in a change to my usual technical manuals she will not be a game model. Instead I will be introducing my readers to the world of Silo and its amazing modeling toolset.

I will update my blog on its progress so watch this space for sneak previews of the character as well as updates on the books release schedule.

Sonic & Sega Update

It’s a few months before Sonic & Sega All Star Racing is released and a few images have started floating around the net.

Now, my hands are tied untill the game is actualy released so I can`t show any of the vehicles I worked on…but below are a few choice images I thought I would share which are already on the net

You may have noticed a new menu item above, “Tips & Tools”. This is a new section to the site where I will be posting links to my tutorials, both old and new, as well as helpful scripts and tools I create.

In addition you will notice a live feed in the sidebar from 3DTwips, showing the latest quick tips as I post them

Birth of the Mini Wii!

Time for me to start on a new personal project, and this one will run and run and run.

I decided to go back, peel away the normal maps and high resolution models I am used to and work on my low poly modeling and texturing skills.

So what to do? Well I thought I would bring some of my favourite comic book heroes and heroins to life, as if being created for the Wii, PS2 or iPhone maybe? but with my own stylistic twist.
